February Is "Thank An Exhibitor" Month
WE CAN'T SAY IT OFTEN enough... Readers and members of the eight
sponsoring associations of Masonry Expo '94 are urged to express their
support for exhibitors as strongly as possible... through purchasing their
products or services if practical and possible... or at the very least by visiting
their booths in Atlanta next month and expressing your thanks and apprecia
tion for their support of the industry and sponsoring associations. Even the
smallest exhibitor dedicates a great deal of time, energy and expense to partic
ipate. Your expressions of support will go a long way... at this year's Expo and
at future Expos. The more companies that participate, the more value the Expo
will have for you and your associations. Mutual support works to everyone's
benefit.
WORLD RENOWNED SCULPTOR Donna Dobberfuhl will be on hand at the
Masonry Magazine/MCAA booth Saturday and Sunday, February 26-27 in At-
lanta during Masonry Expo demonstrating her artistry in the creation of a
sculpted brick mural which, when finished and fired, will grace the walls of
MCAA's offices in Oak Brook. Illinois. Everyone's invited to stop by and see
Donna at work in creating a magnificent piece of art from workaday, unfired
brick. Donna will field your questions, and we promise that you'll leave with
more than a few ideas on how to utilize brick sculpture in your work at some
point in time.
YOU'RE INVITED TO JOIN us for breakfast in Atlanta at 7 am on Monday.
February 28 to honor the winners of the first International Excellence in Ma-
sonry Winner's Circle Awards. Entries... all of which have achieved recogni-
tion previously by winning awards in local, regional or national competi-
tions... will be on view in the entrance area of the Masonry Expo '94 exhibit
area at Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center on Saturday and Sunday.
February 26-27 during exhibit hours. All Expo attendees will be given a ballot
when they register, and asked to vote for their favorites. Winners will be fea-
tured in future issues of Masonry Magazine.
ALL ROADS LEAD TO ATLANTA next month... to the Georgia World Con-
gress Center on February 23-28 for the MCAA Conference and Masonry Expo
'94. And in case you haven't already made your plans to attend, now's the time
to do so... while you can still get airline and room reservations of your choice.
Atlanta's a big city, served by many airlines, with lots and lots of hotel rooms,
so you can always find something at the last minute... but rather than going
and returning at times inconvenient to you and staying at an out of the way
hotel, wouldn't it be much more comforting to go and return on your schedule
and stay at your choice of hotels near the exhibit center? And in case, you're
planning not to go, we promise you'll be sorry if you miss what's already shap-
ing up to be the biggest and and best Conference and Expo ever.-Gene Adams,
