Immediate Past President, Mason Contractors Association of America

Change affected every aspect of our lives this past year. The change in the administration in Washington and its new agenda, change from a recessionary economy to one of modest growth, change in the stature of many foreign countries from economic obscurity to bona-fide participants, and change in the market performance of many stocks which can affect our every day business.
Change, by its very nature, can be unsettling. It would have been easy to just bury our heads in the sand. But, I can report that MCAA has tried to face the forces of change head on. The question we face is, which of these changes are permanent, which are temporary.
