Robert Fenimore

Serving in his second term as Regional Vice President of the Mason Contractors Association of America, Robert Fenimore has served for years in local masonry industry efforts to build the future of masonry in Texas. Of primary interest to Fenimore has been his involvement in promotion and mason training. For the past twenty-six years he has served on the Joint Apprenticeship Committee and the Laborers Training Fund. Fenimore is most proud of the fact that he developed the first local masonry slide promotional presentation for the Fort Worth Masonry Association which later became the first state wide effort to promote masonry.

Shirley Scheisser

For decades Shirley Scheisser has been active in more than just her industry affiliation. Her public positions on her local city council and Chamber have supported the masonry industry. She has been active for years as a member of the state associations Special Presentation, Training and Planning Committees. Most recently, Scheisser became the first woman Board of Directors member of the Mason Contractors Association of America with her election as a Regional Vice President.

Tom Daniel

Tom Daniel has been active in the construction industry for twenty-four years and in the masonry industry for the past ten years. Currently, Daniel is Secretary of the CCMCA and has served as Chairman of the CCMCA Legislative Committee for the past two years. He serves on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Chapter of the CCMCA and is on the Board of the Southern California Masonry Industry Training Association and Trust of California. Daniel's focus for years has been to attract young people into careers in the masonry industry. In fact he has been active in conducting career days in local high schools and has just completed a successful career day at the Perris Valley High School. Daniel's focus has been to attract young people into the masonry industry.

Robert Barkshire, recently elected to his third term as Regional Vice President of the Mason Contractors Association of America, has had many years of volunteering his time and effort to building the industry. He has been active for years on the Apprenticeship, Membership, and the Negotiation Committees for the Washington State Conference of Mason Contractors. He focuses much of his time now to the Board of the Masonry Institute of Washington where they have a very proactive promotional program.

For over 25 years, Dick Lauber has served the masonry industry with great pride and tireless energy. He has involved himself in all aspects of the industry. In fact, over the past seven years, he has increased his involvement by becoming the President of the MCA of Greater Chicago and serving on the industry Wall Bracing Council for the past year which is developing a new industry standard for bracing masonry walls under construction. Through his leadership, the MCAGC has become active in state legislative issues. He has served on numerous MCAA national committees as well as serving on the Illinois Masonry Institute Board which oversees local promotion in the greater Chicago area. He has also served for over 15 years on numerous safety and codes committees.

Elmer Harris

Currently, Elmer Harris is the President of the Mason Contractors Association of Dayton and has served in this capacity for eight years. In addition, Harris serves on the Bricklayers Joint Apprenticeship Committee where he oversees the training of the industry's future workforce. In addition to his involvement with training, Harris has served on the Board of Trustees for the Masonry Institute of Dayton for the past 15 years.

President of the MCA of Winston-Salem, Freddy Koontz was recently elected as President of the Mason Contractors Association of North Carolina, one of the few state-wide mason contractors associations in the country. Koontz has been active for years conducting career days as well as serving on the NC Department of Labor and VICA Skills Contest. In addition, Koontz serves on the NCMCA State OSHA and Department of Labor Relations Committee.

Kenny Foeste

Kenny Foeste has served as President of the MCGA of Southeast Missouri for the past three years. Prior to that he served as its Vice President for five years. During that time, Foeste was instrumental in establishing apprenticeship training with Bricklayers Local 23. He has also been very active conducting career days at local vocational and high schools. He led the effort in southern Illinois to have mason tenders operate the masonry forklifts instead of the operating engineers, bringing Southern Illinois in-line with the majority of the United States.

Lyle Johnson

Lyle Johnson has made attending meetings, serving on committees and promoting the masonry industry an integral part of his business. If something needs to be said, Johnson is the one to say it, not making him the most popular mason around, but definitely, one of the most respected. He has been an active member of the Masonry Industry Promotion Group for the past twenty-five years and he was one of the founding fathers of the promotional collective bargaining agreement, which funds the areas masonry promotion. He currently serves as the President of the MCA of Spokane.

Kenneth Kesley

Kenneth Kealey has immersed himself into developing future workers for the masonry industry. He teaches apprenticeship classes and has been doing so for years. He has attended career days in area high schools long before it became fashionable to do so. In fact he has always personally brought in new.
