Frank Campitelli

Frank Campitelli currently serves as a Board member for the Masonry Institute of Maryland and the local American Subcontractors Association Board. In addition he serves as a Trustee of the Bricklayers Local 1 Apprenticeship Board, serves on the Institute's Safety Committee and had previously served as a contractor member on the Labor Management Committee with the Baltimore Building Construction Trades Council. He was also appointed by Maryland Governor Schaeffer to represent masonry on the Construction Industry Advisory Committee. Campitelli has also worked hard to train apprentices with his service on the Apprenticeship Committee and remains active in recruiting new workers by encouraging both union and open shop contractors to work together to address issues such as training and better wages to entice young people into the trade.

Donald Larsen

Donald Larsen has spent decades volunteering his time to build a stronger industry. The last two years he served as President of the Mason Contractors Association of America where the MCAA completed one of its most successful years of its fifty-year history. Larsen was recently honored by the Masonry Institute of Illinois were he served as its chairman for twenty years.

George Strunge

George Strunge was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Mason Contractors Association of America as Regional Vice President from Region A which represents the north east. Having succeeded Frank Campitelli in the capacity who was recently elevated to a senior officer position with the national association, Strung continues the strong line of actively involved mason contractors guiding the MCAA and its programming to aide mason contractors.

Roy Swindal

Roy Swindal, President of Masonry Arts, Inc. in Bessemer, Alabama has been very active in the Alabama masonry market by developing a quality recruitment and training program for future workers in the masonry industry. QM Plus has been a highly successful program in attracting young masons to the masonry industry.

Swindal served for several years as Chairman of the Mason Contractors Association of America's Membership Committee and was recently elected to his second two-year term as Regional Vice President of the national association.

Robert Schuerman

Robert Schuerman, President of Peterson Construction, has served in voluntary positions in the local Ohio area since 1980. Since his first involvement, Schuerman has served on the apprenticeship committee and has been very active with area promotional programs through masonry demonstrations and visits to architect's offices. Schuerman served as Chairman of the MCAA National Marketing Committee for several years and was recently elected to his fourth term as Regional Vice President for the MCAA.

Mark Larsen

Serving as President of the Mason Contractors Association of Greater Chicago for six years has given Mark Larsen a strong perspective of the masonry industry. During his tenure as President of the Greater Chicago Chapter, the chapter grew to one of the more influential mason contracting associations in the country where it continues to remain strong. Since stepping down as chapter president, Larsen served as the Chairman of the Mason Contractors Association of America's Publication Committee, which oversees the publishing of MASONRY Magazine.
