(Question: Can't We All Just Get Along? Answer: I Wouldn't Count On It!)

The poet, Ogden Nash, once said that "in real life, it takes only one to make a quarrel." He was right. Dispute has a way of finding even the most non-confrontational of people good people and sometimes is simply unavoidable. But aside from this natural attraction toward conflict, suppose you're the kind of person who likes to make things happen, even if it means pushing the envelope every now and then. Well, that certainly won't help you stay out of trouble!
But let's make it even more fun than that! Let's also toss in that you're a card-carrying member of (arguably) one of the most conflict-generating occupations ever - construction contracting. Well, I think you can see where this is going.... and it isn't pretty! The odds seem good that someday (perhaps someday soon) you'll find yourself embroiled in a business dispute one possibly threatening lengthy litigation, layers of lawyers, and (more on page 36)
