Lively discourse, demonstrations, and camaraderie are to be expected. As in previous symposiums, stonework in architecture will be a topic of discussion. There will be a stone building "event" with opportunity for hands-on participation, which will be viewed by the public as well as Symposium attendees.

Bil-Jax Announces Manager of Business Development
Archbold, Ohio-based Bil-Jax, Inc. announced the appointment of Steve Citron to the position of manager of business development effective June 14, 2004.
Citron joins Bil-Jax from Genie Industries, Redmond, Wash., where he held a variety of positions dating from August 1984 through August 2003. Those positions included new product and business development manager, senior product manager, project manager/program director, and production manager. His most recent experience was with JLG Industries.
Citron brings to Bil-Jax significant experience in the development of new products including market research and analysis as well as full product development and introduction.
TTI Signs Agreement to Acquire Milwaukee, AEG and Drebo for $626.6 Million
Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd. (TTI) announced August 30 that it entered into a stock purchase agreement to acquire Atlas Copco AB's electric power tool and accessories business, currently conducted through Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation and Atlas Copco Electric Tools GmbH and certain other entities under the brand names Milwaukee, AEG® and DreBo®. The net cash consideration for the purchase is US $626.6 million on a debt-free basis.
The transaction, which is subject to regulatory clearances and customary closing conditions, is expected to close prior to the end of 2004.
