Every year, the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) co-sponsors the highly important Masonry Industry Legislative Conference along with the Building Stone Institute, the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute and the National Concrete Masonry Association. This is such a significant event for the industry that I have decided to put the news release in the very front of the magazine. I hope that all of you plan to participate in this extremely essential conference and put all of your efforts into supporting your business and industry in Washington, D.C.
The Masonry Industry Legislative Conference, held May 14-16, is a unique opportunity for the masonry industry to come together in our nation's capital to meet firsthand with the decision-makers that affect both regulatory and legislative issues.
During the three-day conference, you will have the opportunity to hear from prominent members of the Congress and Senate on key issues that confront the masonry industry. You will have an opportunity to meet personally with your elected representatives and to educate them on how these issues affect your business and the masonry industry. This conference is your opportunity to shape the future of the masonry industry and to impact the type of laws and regulations that come out of Washington.
Why You Should Attend
If you are a mason contractor, brick manufacturer or distributor, stone fabricator or block manufacturer, you have a vested interest in the future of the masonry industry.
Few activities can impact the viability and profitability of our industry faster than the actions of our legislators or regulatory agencies. Attending the Masonry Industry Legislative Conference is your opportunity to meet face-to-face with key decision-makers that can impact your future.
