Nawkaw Hires Johnson as Regional Manager

Nawkaw Corporation has hired Mark Johnson as regional manager for corporate-owned territories. Johnson's experience includes several years as a sales representative for the Nawkaw Midwest Office. His professional career spans more than 20 years in the brick and construction industries. His responsibilities will include managing, training and project support for regional sales representatives. He will be working out of the Nawkaw Midwest Office in Chicago.

Park Industries Receives National Award

Park Industries was named one of the 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America. The list was announced on June 25 at the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) 59th Annual Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas.

Now in its fourth year, this annual list ranks the top 25 small and top 25 medium-sized companies in America that use smart people management strategies to develop successful organizations with highly productive and satisfied workforces.

The organizations, ranging in size from 50 to 999 employees, were announced by SHRM and selected and ranked by the Great Place to Work Institute (GPTW). The results were based on a randomly distributed employee opinion survey. Each company evaluated was given a score based on employees' responses to a detailed questionnaire about the organizations' work place cultures.

Atlas Copco Names New Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Atlas Copco Construction Tools LLC has appointed Rich Aaronson as its new vice president of marketing and communications. In this new position, Aaronson will oversee and direct all advertising, public relations and marketing efforts for Atlas Copco's Construction Tools division in the United States.

Prior to joining Atlas Copco, Aaronson spent two years as director of marketing for fasteners at Danaher Corporation. Aaronson's previous industry experience also includes five years in the Netherlands with Skil Power Tools, where he served as director of marketing for the company's European division.
