Grant Contracting Named 2014 Specialty Contractor of the Year

Words: Dan Kamys

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of St. Louis has awarded Grant Contracting as their overall 2014 Specialty Contractor of the Year (SCOTY). Grant also won the First Place SCOTY award in the Masonry subcontractor trade discipline.

The 2014 AGC Keystone and SCOTY awards were presented at a Construction Gala, held at the Renaissance Grand Hotel in downtown St. Louis on Nov. 13, 2014.

These awards honor the best in specialty contracting as judged by the general contractor members of the AGC of St. Louis. General Contractors were asked to consider the specialty contractors’ timeliness to meet project schedule, ability to stay within budget, and overall experience when voting for the specialty contractors in each discipline.

Grant Contracting Co. is a St. Louis-based Certified Mason Contractor, and has been providing quality masonry craftsmanship, in a safe and timely manner for more than 65 years.
