2015 Masonry Madness Day Coming in February

MASONRY MADNESS Day will happen during the World of Concrete/World of Masonry in Las Vegas on Feb. 4. It’s a collection of the most exciting masonry competitions in the world and it all takes place on one day, at one location. There’s nothing like it on the planet! One event after another, you’ll see the best bricklayers, blocklayers, mason apprentices and tenders battle in four unique masonry contests to prove who is the world’s best. You don’t want to miss seeing these highly skilled craftsmen compete for the largest value of cash and prizes awarded for any construction industry trade event held in the world – it’s pure MASONRY MADNESS!

Ranked as the top attraction during the World of Concrete tradeshow, this trowel and mortar party takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Gold Lot. Spectators and webcast viewers will witness an amazing display of human skill and endurance as more than 90 masonry warriors fight for the champion title in their respective competitions.

Throughout the day the crowd is given several chances to participate in sponsor demonstrations and games to win prizes and discover the latest product innovations impacting the efficiency and cost savings available to contractors. The action in the Gold Lot is as real as it gets. Anything can happen in Las Vegas, especially during MASONRY MADNESS Day, but it only happens once a year, so don’t miss out!

New this year, SPEC MIX Inc. and the sponsors of the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500 as well as partners of MASONRY MADNESS Day are proud to support the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (CFPF). Now that SPEC MIX Inc. is the official masonry industry promotional collaborator of CFPF, the SPEC MIX organization is fully integrating the Foundation into the excitement and fun of MASONRY MADNESS Day.

This worthy U.S. military support foundation is laser focused on providing full tuition for the post-secondary education of children whose mother or father gave her or his life in military service to the United States of America. The foundation’s goal is to raise awareness of their campaign to identify the children of fallen patriots and provide a fully funded post-secondary education to these young adults. This is one of the best ways we can honor those who died defending our country. We are proud to join in the support of the Foundation’s mission as part of our competition program. For more information about the Foundation and to make a personal contribution, go to www.fallenpatriots.org or be a part of our live fundraiser taking place during MASONRY MADNESS Day in Las Vegas.
