An updated edition of Manual 49, User’s Guide to ASTM Specification C94/C94M on Ready-Mixed Concrete, 2nd Edition, is now available in print and online.

Co-published by ASTM International and the National Ready-Mixed Concrete Association, this new edition represents a significant re-write of all portions of the book. It includes 22 comprehensive chapters that explain every aspect of ASTM C94, the "reference standard" for the industry.

ASTM C94 covers the complex subject of ordering, production and delivery of ready-mixed concrete. There have been many changes and improvements to C94 since the first edition of this manual was printed, especially in the technology for production and delivery of concrete. Manual 49 provides tips and advice and has numerical examples, photos and figures to illustrate proper procedures and implications when C94 is cited in project specifications.
