DEWALT Announces Power Tool Battery Recycling Program

DEWALT is participating in a promotion with Call2Recycle, a national battery-recycling program of the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC). As part of the promotion, users who recycle their (Nickel Cadmium) NiCd, Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) or Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) DEWALT power tool batteries at one of the company’s 79 service centers will receive a $10.00 discount to put toward their next DEWALT battery purchase. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to help Call2Recycle reach its campaign goal of collecting one million pounds of batteries by Nov. 30.

MyCall2Recycle is a call to action for consumers and professionals across the nation to participate in the Call2Recycle program, the only free rechargeable battery and cell phone collection program in North America. DEWALT partners with the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) to offer the Call2Recycle option to its end users.
