Speed Clip Turns 10, Celebrates with ContestsSpeed Clip Turns 10, Celebrates with Contests

Speed Clips were first created 10 years ago by movie industry grip Damian Costa to solve headaches on the movie set when he needed a quick and easy way to attach material to railings.

Speed Clips is now expanding its market to the scaffolding and construction industries.??Speed Clips are made of high-quality materials. They are easy to go on and easy to come off, have no sharp edges and snags to contend with, are heat resistant, and will not relax in high temperatures. They are strong, durable and long lasting, and they can be used over and over again. Speed Clips also save time and money.

Speed Clips come in two sizes that attach virtually any type of fabric or plastic sheeting (Visqueen) to 1 1/4-inch i.d. for scaffolding, piping and more, 1 1/2-inch i.d. suitable for 2x4, 2x6 or any 2x lumber, and more.

The 10-year anniversary of Speed Clips is being celebrated through three contests: 1) Most Innovated Use of Speed Clips, 2) The Most Used Number of Speed Clips on a Job, and 3) A general drawing of users and future users of Speed Clips. For each contest the lucky winner will be awarded the choice of either $100 or a box of 50 Deluxe Speed Clips (value of $175).

Submit your name, phone number and email address, contest number you are entering, and description of job and/or photos (for contests 1 and 2) to Damian Costa at damian@SpeedClip.net, or mail entries to 21017 Gresham Str., #11, Canoga Park, CA 91304. Contest deadline is June 15, 2010, and the winner will be announced July 1, 2010. For more information, call 818-402-9371.
