Town Hall Meetings

Words: Dan KesterIt?s nearly August and Congress is in recess. While I know you are all very busy, I strongly urge you to attend Town Hall Meetings in your area. If you don?t have a specific issue on your mind, just go to listen and find out where they stand on current issues. You might learn something ? and more importantly, you should have an opportunity to meet the Member.

To view an electronic listing of meetings in your area, please go to www.gainonline.net/townhall.asp and use the interactive map.

If your members of Congress are not holding Town Hall meetings, let me know. I?d be happy to assist you in scheduling your own meeting at either your office or your member of Congress?s district office.
