Appointment of Neill Boldriek as executive vice president of Metropolitan Brick, Inc., Canton, Ohio, has been announced by Metropolitan president Donald J. Renkert. Effective immediately, Mr. Boldrick will be the chief operating officer directly responsible for coordination and control of Metropolitan operations. Mr. Boldrick, who was president of Acme Brick Co., Ft. Worth, Texas, has been active in the brick products industry for more than 25 years. He is currently vice president and director of SCPI and chairman of that group's Depletion Committee.

Lay-Ken Contractors Supply Co., Polo, Ill., announces the appointment of Joe Krys as their new Sales Manager. Former Memphis Chapter Director F. C. Nalley has written from Hawaii advising that his new address is 2828 Pumehana St., Apt. #8, Honolulu, Hawaii. Robert G. Evans has issued a "Progress Report" that makes many enjoyable reading minutes.

The latest issue of NCMA's Pictorial features Shadowal Block while SCPI's Brick & Tile pictures in color the Brook Hollow Industrial District buildings in Dallas, Texas.

PCA announces that Andrew R. McMinn has been appointed District Engineer for Florida. Joseph C. Donovan has been appointed District Engineer for Alabama and Mississippi. Joseph A. Donovan has been named eastern district manager for Natco Corp. He will be located in New York City, and this follows Joseph I. Maloney's resignation.

The Expanded Clay & Shale Association will hold its annual meeting Dec. 12-13 at the Deauville Hotel, Miami Beach, Fla.

Carroll & Edwards Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, has been appointed a distributor by the Mix Co.

Gloria Linari, Metropolitan Opera star, is currently assisting her father, Dominic Linari, Highland Park, Ill., Contractor. Gloria indicates plans call for her to make several metropolitan appearances this winter. A recent Cleveland, Ohio, B.T.E.A. (Continued on page 14)
