This medium priced do-it-all has so many features, you may think it's underpriced

We wanted a 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel steer Econmobile that would fit in the medium price range between our 620 model and our big 720. The new 640 does exactly that. It is loaded with vital features of strength, capacity, power and versatility. For example, it has a 30 mph maximum speed, a 93 H.P. IH engine, and a 4,000 lb. capacity at full height and extended reach. It gives you the safety of 64" of extended, arc type reach while the machine is motionless.

It has exclusive super single, steel-guard tires, the ultimate in traction and flotation plus the fact that they are virtually punctureproof. NoSpin differential and 4-wheel planetary drive give you total answer to full use in any weather. That extra power isn't just extra speed, but also means fast acting hydraulics - ground to full height in 15 seconds!

And like all Econmobiles, the 640 is built and engineered from the ground up as a material handling vehicle. It's solely designed for the unusual stresses met on the modern jobsite. Eight quick change attachments, including forks, concrete hopper, aggregate bucket, etc. are available.
