710 Skytrak

A new fork lift tractor, the 710 Skytrak, largest in the Skytrak line, has been introduced by PCM Division of Koehring Company, Port Washington, Wis.

The 710, which replaces the 700, features a unique "shooting boom" which enables the 710 to raise materials to a height of 30' 6", reach out 16' at ground level or place material as much as five feet below grade. It is capable of lifting 4000 lbs. at 24" load centers, as compared to 3000 lbs. at 12" centers on the old 700 Skytrak.

Other features of the 710 Skytrak which combine to insure smooth performance are full power steering, torque converter transmission and hydraulic axle stabilizers.

The 710 is mounted on a heavy duty frame and powered by a 60 hp industrial tractor with five forward and reverse gears. Rear mounted, high flotation drive tires keep the 710 in and out of the most adverse construction site conditions. Its short wheelbase allows maximum maneuverability, and the low profile of the 710 permits operation under ceilings as low as 10 feet.
