Molco's Hydrosaw
Molco Industrial Equipment, a subsidiary of Christensen Diamond Products Company, Salt Lake City, Utah, announces the development of a compact and lightweight saw for cutting all types of masonry materials.
The versatile, new Hydrosaw features a hydraulically operated table for "locked-in" cutting which maintains a constant depth of cut for fast production sawing and varied milling effects.
The table of the Hydrosaw elevates the material to be cut into the "locked in" blade at a predetermined rate then returns to its lowest position automatically. By locking the blade into position, table cutting is eliminated.
New operator freedom is achieved with the aid of a foot-operated valve, actuating the hydraulic table cylinder for an infinite range of settings. No more treadling or further adjustment. Both feet stay on the ground.
Other features include a powerful aluminum frame motor for a 40 percent motor weight reduction; sump pan which is quickly removed for easy clean-up; and finally, the Hydrosaw accommodates a full range of blade sizes up to 20 inches in diameter.
Teamed with Molco's diamond saw blades the Hydrosaw provides an extremely fast cutting combination.

The Fleminator
This rig was developed to eliminate the headaches that go with heating sand and water. It consists of a heavy tube to heat the sand, a 2" pipe coil in the tube attached to a tank outside to heat the water, and a gun-type oil burner for heat. The operation of the burner is controlled by an aquastat on the tank. It requires no more attention, as far as the heat is concerned, than the oil burner in your house and is as easily maintained. The tube is ten feet long so a truck load of sand can be dumped at a time.
The FLEMINATOR has a 90 gallon square tank constructed integrally with the end plate. Water will remain at whatever temperature the aquastat is set while you are working and will be the same temperature in the morning. The sand will remain warm.
The unit can also be furnished with trailer wheels and a hitch.
For additional information contact Fleming Devices, Inc., 89 Pleasant Avenue, Box 2130, South Portland, Maine 04106.
Target's "Quick-Mount"
"Quick-Mount" is a major engineering development by the Robert G. Evans Company of Kansas City, Missouri, and is now standard equipment on all Target Masonry Saws including the full size Glide-Matic and Thrifty/Matic Models, as well as the portable Target Port-A-Saw and Porta/Matic Models.
"Quick-Mount" features a cutting head with Ball Bearing Pivots which offer the following advantages: Provides Positive Saw Alignment by achieving a solid mounting of the cutting head on the saw frame. Allows the operator to exert Maximum pressure for faster cutting and better saw performance, without the blade deflecting or raising out of the cut. Achieves maximum blade protection, reduces blade sidewear and increases blade life. Makes it easy to remove or install the cutting head for storage, or for transporting.
Target "Quick-Mount" will be dramatically demonstrated to show its profitable, practical advantages at Target Booths 49, 50, 51, 52 during the MCAA Educational Trade Show.
Additional information and the location of Target Authorized Distributors can be obtained by writing the manufacturer, Robert G. Evans Company, 4330 Clary Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. 64130.
