# Stone Stomper
The compact machine held by the young lady is a power rammer known as the Stone Stomper. It is used in the building and construction industry to compact fill dirt around foundations and in ditches and other excavations to return the area to the way it was before the ground was broken.
The Stomper is a unique product developed and manufactured by Stone Construction Equipment, Inc., Honeoye, N.Y. The unit, which weighs only 112 lbs., utilizes a high energy ram system to lift its tamper foot 3½ then slam it down with intense force. It delivers a 1,250 lb. blow up to 700 times per minute.
It has been calculated the force of the Stomper is equal to that of 5 elephants stomping the ground. But it's easier to guide and control... and it works for "peanuts." (Photo taken at Strate Show, Rochester, N.Y.)
# Anti-burglary System
Continental Techsonics, designer and manufacturer of electronic equipment, has devised an anti-burglary system utilizing ultra-high frequency radio waves.
Called Contelco-Guard, this radar-like system can sense an intruder's tiniest movement the same way radar senses aircraft or sonar probes the sea.
The unit sets off an alarm and automatically informs the police that a burglary is in progress at a particular location. The system, according to Continental, has caught the imagination of many architects and builders who are incorporating it into new construction sites. The device also can simultaneously turn on lights, bells and sirens, and call a doorman or building owner. It can handle as many as five emergency numbers simultaneously. For further information, contact Sanford Weiss, Continental Techsonics, 17 W. 46th St., New York, N.Y. 10036.

The intermediate design of Truckler increases the utility of pickup trucks and complements the economies of the forklift tractor in the vastly expanding field of palletization. Load capacity is 5,000 lbs, with maximum dimensions 51" x 12'. The electrical system of the towing vehicle supplies 12-volt power to the lift mechanism. The unit is equipped with automatic-surge hydraulic brakes. Get more details from Truckler Division, Harvestall Industries, Inc., 3 N. Walnut Ave., New Hampton, Ia. 50659.
