library for government documents of the United States as well as the State of Oregon. Upon the death of architect Dukehart, this partnership was dissolved. The Scott library represents the firm's final major project after many years of excellence in masonry construction design.

Plasterers, Cement Masons to Train Under $1.1 Million Federal Contract
More than 1,300 plasterers and cement masons in 44 states will be trained under a new $1.1 million federal contract awarded to the Portland Cement Association, Skokie, III., and the Operative Plasterers' & Cement Masons' International Association.
The contract was awarded by the United States Training and Employment Service, U.S. Department of Labor Manpower Administration, and the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare under provisions of the Manpower Development and Training Act. The 16-month contract calls for training 1,310 pre-apprentices and journeymen, including 50 instructors, plus development of improved instructional materials for use following expiration of the current program.
