The complete Convention Program will be announced shortly. The overall concept has been to make it as diversified as possible so as to give MCAA members a full insight into how to "Make Money Move in "71."
The Ladies' Program will be highlighted by shopping tours and many unique recreational and leisure activities to keep the ladies occupied and entertained during the four-day meeting.
The battleship USS Texas lies moored in a slip dredged for her at San Jacinto State Park. The Mighty "T." only surviving dreadnought of her class. fought in two wars. In 1948 she was decommissioned, presented to the state, and recommissioned as the flagship of the Texas Navy. In the background is the 570-ft. San Jacinto monument.
