This is the updated ANSI standard replacing Part IX of A10.2-1944. The American National Standard Safety Code for Building Construction (A10.-2-1944) covers a broad field and many separate considerations. The entire standard is under revision and each part is being issued as a separate American National Standard in the new A10 series on construction safety, with the National Safety Council as sponsor.

The new standard on scaffolds covers 25 separate types, and each is detailed in a separate chapter.

During 1970 state legislatures, 36 of which met, enacted many laws affecting credit operations. These are analyzed and interpreted for the credit and financial executive in the 1971 edition of the Credit Manual of Commercial Laws.

The 831-page manual covers comprehensively and in layman's language the major areas of commercial law at the Federal level and also on a detailed state-by-state basis. Among the hundreds of subjects covered are interest and usury, credit cards, garnishments, libel in credit reporting, truth-in-lending, and liens to name just a few.

In addition to the updating of laws on credit, the new 63rd edition of the Manual contains new special features on the enforceability of arbitration clauses and the law of libel in credit reporting.
