NOTE: Ladies should register at the Ladies Headquarters, Continental Room, so that necessary arrangements may be made for the various events. Coffee Hours and Continental Breakfast are sponsored by the Anchor Manufacturing Company, Chicago, Illinois.

2:45 P.M. "The John James Singers Present." One of the most refreshing new groups in America today. All Houstonians, they organized two years ago. They combine their musical talents with their occupations, which range from lawyer to banker to secretary to housewife.

9:30 A.M. Continental Breakfast, Continental Room.

1:45 P.M. "It Takes A Heap Of Living To Make A House A Home," June Benefield, Newspaper Columnist. A humorous look at marriage covering all of the problems which women face between the time she finally catches her man until the children are grown.

June Benefield, newspaper columnist and speaker whose humor and insight have tickled the funny bone of residents of the Gulf Coast area for the past 15 years. She calls herself the "Kid and Kitchen Editor" of the Houston Chronicle, but in real life she is the wife of a utility company executive and the mother of three children.


Monday, February 8

8:00 A.M. Continental Breakfast, Continental Room.

9:30 A.M. Opening Session of the '71 MCAA Convention, Emerald Room.

12:00 Noon Shopping Tour of The Galleria. The South's newest and most beautiful shopping center located at Post Oak at Westheimer. Over 125 shopping areas in a completely enclosed atmosphere.

Buses leave the Shamrock every 30 minutes and return every 30 minutes from Galleria. Last bus leaves The Galleria at 4:30 P.M.


Tuesday, February 9

8:00 A.M. Continental Breakfast, Continental Room.

9:30 A.M. "You've Come A Long Way, Lady." A 45-minute Program-Fast moving-Funny with some audience participation. Depicts the past 100 years of Fashion.

10:30 A.M. Cards, Conversation and Coffee, Continental Room.

6:30 P.M. Reception, Embassy Room.

7:30 P.M. Annual MCAA Banquet, Emerald Room.
