Super Padding for Fountainebleau

This pretty model has discovered the reason for the soft touch to the poolside carpeting surrounding the newly redone south pool area at the Hotel Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. It is Omalon underpadding by Olin Corporation. The new carpet underlay holds its form, won't mildew, and may be used indoors or out. The material is claimed to be superior to sponge rubber in toughness, resistance to aging, lack of odor, and tear and tonsile.

PCA Consolidates Marketing Staff

The Portland Cement Association has announced a plan to improve its marketing efficiency and reduce operating costs by combining present field and headquarters marketing staffs into a single unit. Emphasis will be concentrated on national and regional market areas which account for the major volume of concrete usage. Dr. Harry N. Huntzicker, president, disclosed that because of the reorganization, work of the association would be sustained "with no deficit spending." He called the first balanced budget in a decade "an encouraging development."
