The grand plan of the law center concept is the integration of all elements of legal education. Designed to accomplish this with maximum user convenience and minimal building maintenance is the University of Oregon Law Center. The architects and engineers employed the RBM masonry system in this project to satisfy the multiple requirements of the study rooms, corridors, staff offices and exterior facing.
The physical development sets the form of the complex design combining masonry, concrete, aluminum, wood and glass. These materials were carefully selected to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in the "old campus" tradition as well as utilitarian shelter for its occupants and their pursuits.
The law school library is the basic resource and materials center for this complex. Seating capacity of the library is continued on page 38.
