PCA Training Courses
The inspection and testing of concrete and the quality of concrete construction jobs are the focus of two courses being offered during the Portland Cement Association's 1973-74 training season. The courses are conducted at the Association's Cement and Concrete Center in Skokie, III., northwest of Chicago.
"Inspection and Testing of Concrete," scheduled for October 29-31, provides the background for qualification as a beginning concrete job inspector or testing laboratory employee. "Concrete for the Field Supervisor," jointly sponsored by the American Society of Concrete Construction and the PCA to be held November 26-30, is designed to enable job superintendents, foremen, and subforemen to make better and quicker decisions on matters affecting the quality and profitability of concrete construction jobs.
