New PCM 1510 Skytrack
Designed specifically to fill the need on construction sites for a low-cost utility forklift to move and elevate the lighter weight building materials, the new 1510 Skytrak from PCM Division of Koehring features a 1,500-lb. capacity at 24" centers and a 10 lift height. An optional mast permits a lift height of 14 ft.
According to PCM, market studies it has made over the past several years pointedly show that in spite of the fact that many applications exist for a machine of this type, none to date has been offered for this intermediate work range.
In announcing the 1510 during a recent distributor conference, PCM emphasized that the materials handling unit is engineered to bridge the acknowledged gap between manual labor and much larger equipment now available. Hauck BTU Heater
Hauck Construction Products Corp. has begun marketing its all-new 160,000 BTU Heater built with all of the necessary safety devices required by OSHA. The unit comes complete with a high-intensity heat screen, burner safety controls and thermostat, as well as a circuit-breaker for motor protection.

Diamond Drilling Guide
A new 32-page illustrated booklet, Guide to Industrial Diamond Drilling, is available from Longyear Co., 925 Delaware St., S. E., Minneapolis, Minn. 55414.
This "how to" guide is prepared as a practical aid to contractors and maintenance people involved in drilling through reinforced concrete walls and floors, tile, glass, or any other hard or brittle material. Included in the booklet are tips for successful drilling, typical problem drilling situations and remedies, recommended safety practices, and a brief description of Longyear drilling equipment and accessories.
The 41½"x7" booklet fits easily into the driller's pocket for handy on-the-job reference. It is printed on a special, long-wearing, plastic-base paper that is almost impossible to tear. If it becomes smudged or dirty from use, it can be simply washed off with soap and water.
Apex Safety Cap
A new safety cap which is claimed to be unsurpassed in meeting safety specifications is available from Apex Safety Products. Called the Poly-Guard, it boasts a high density polyethylene shell, four point "energy absorbing" suspension and scientific engineering to provide maximum safety and comfort.
Available in a variety of colors, the Poly-Guard cap is strong, yet lightweight so that it can be worn comfortably all day. A rain trough prevents water from running down the back of the neck and the nape strap, which is an integral part of the suspension, holds the cap securely in place in all head positions. The foam-backed, vinyl brow pad is perforated and attached to the head band, which can be quickly adjusted to fit head sizes from 6/2 thru size 8. The flat facade is designed for company identification, using pressure-sensitive decals or hot stamping.

Crane Brochure
An eight-page brochure describing the company's hydraulic cranes is available from the Austin-Western Division of Clark Equipment Co. The two-color booklet reviews key features of eight fully hydraulic cranes in capacities from 5 to 15 tons and lists condensed lifting data for each crane.
Six self-propelled cranes that adapt for material handling from rough terrain conditions to industrial yards are discussed and illustrated. Features of 7½ and 121½ ton units for stationary mounting on truckbed, dock or ship and a four-wheel-drive, four-wheel-steer prime mover tractor are also described.

Aeroil Steam Cleaner
Aeroil Products Company has introduced its all-new Model CLS-155 high-pressure Steam Cleaner. The unit features a pulsation-free, piston-type pump.
The unit is particularly adaptable to applications where various kinds of chemical are used in the cleaning operation. The chemical is metered to the desired mixture at the steam outlet and does not enter the pump or the boiler coils. This eliminates the hazard of clogging the boiler coil with harsh chemicals.

Bil-Jax Guardrail Post
A new-type adjustable guardrail post that slips onto the outside edge of concrete slabs of varying thicknesses has been introduced by Bil-Jax, Inc. Designed to allow contractors to meet OSHA requirements, the post has a threaded shaft and leveling nut, and a pair of side brackets to accommodate top and middle safety rails of 2 x 4's or 2 x 6's. Slabs up to 19" thick may be securely gripped.
