The finished concrete masonry walls were sandblasted lightly for color stability and to remove all surface foreign matter. Approximately 5,000 of these special concrete masonry units were manufactured in Eugene and then shipped by truck over 100 miles to the jobsite.

Overall view of the new Office Complex showing the large overhangs. Buildings cling to the ground and become an integral part of the landscape.

building portrays a true sense of purpose for the community which it serves.

The Architect and the Engineer have worked together harmoniously and modernistically in the treatment of the window structures, beams and columns, ventilating stacks. and entrance ways. They have taken the oldest building material in the world and have proven that it does not have to be laid straight. They have slanted it, sloped it, turned circles with it, wrapped steel beams and columns with it. The end result being a beautiful, modern masonry building that will serve the community needs for years to come.
