NBS Publishes Summary
Architects, engineers, government officials and other members of the building community will be interested in a newly-issued report from the Commerce Department's National Bureau of Standards summarizing the work performed during 1975 by NBS' Center for Building Technology (CBT).
Each CBT project is concisely summarized in non-technical language that lists the building research project by title and gives its progress, a point of contact within CBT, and the project's sponsor.
Some of the areas covered in the report include: energy conservation in buildings, communities and industry; solar energy; building economics; sensory environment; architectural research; building safety; plumbing and drainage; mobile homes; mechanical systems, and building codes and standards.
Titled "Building Technology Project Summaries" and designated NBS Special Publication 446, it is for sale by the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C. 20402. The price is $2.05. Order by SD Catalog No. C13.10:446.
