Brook. III., has appointed Michael R. Sill a vice president and newest member of its executive committee. Sill is chairman of Road Machinery & Supply Co., Minneapolis, Minn. Rothe Johnson Associates, Iselin, N.J., has expanded its architectural services to include interior design. Named to the newly created post of interior design director is Marilyn Briton Preiss.
Two top executives have received major promotions at National Gypsum Co., Dallas, Texas. John P. Hayes has moved up to the newly created post of vice chairman and Edward J. Killian becomes president and chief operating officer. At the same time, John M. Piecuch was elevated to president of National Gypsum's Cement Division. He succeeds William B. Hoffman, who became president of Binswanger Glass Co., a National Gypsum subsidiary. Gilbert C. Robinson, professor and head of the Ceramic Engineering Department at Clemson University, has been named a 1982 recipient of the ASTM Award of Merit.
Jeff Storer of SASCO Masonry, Toledo, Ohio, is the new president of the Masonry Institute of Northwestern Ohio. Allan J. Libbe of Rudolph-Libbe, Inc., Wallbridge, Ohio, has been elected vice president Utah Masonry Research & Promotion recently held its eighth annual Masonry Design Recognition and Awards Banquet at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Minnesota has officially joined the ranks of the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) with the formation of a new state council, announced SARA president G. Robert Johnson, FARA, Glenview, III.
Donald F. Hepler has been appointed head of worldwide marketing for Koehring Lorain, a unit of AMCA International Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn. He had been general manager of Koehring International Marketing. Rudi van der Mark, a director of Iso-leermaterialenindustrie PULL B.V.. Rhenen, Holland, was elected president of the Perlite Institute at the group's recent 33rd annual meeting in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Hyster Co., Portland, Ore., was recently honored with the Contractor Assessment Program Award for Quality Excellence by the U.S. Defense Department. Hyster has been a long-time supplier of material handling equipment to the U.S. Government.

Easy-Spred is a mortar plasticizer that performs better and costs less to use than lime. One 7 lb. bag of Easy-Spred replaces one 50 lb. bag of lime. Produces smoother, creamier, more workable mortar. Spreads like butter for easy tooling of joints and better flow to cross joints. Head joints need not be re-buttered.
