AWARDS continued from page 23 within a building which maintains the continuity of the other campus buildings. The subtlety of the masonry detailing pleased the jury.
The general contractor on the addition was Miner-Dederick Construction Corp.: E.G. Lowry Co. was the general on St. Cecilia Catholic Church. W.W. Bartlett, Inc. was the mason contractor on both projects, St. Cecilia.
(Above and below) The subtlety of the blending of limestone and brick detailing on the Rice University School of Architecture addition pleased the architectural awards jury.
