Gerald Dufour is a director of the Mason Contractors Association of Milwaukee, and is a founding director of the Masonry Institute of Wisconsin. He is a trustee of the Milwaukee Mason Welfare & Vacation Fund and serves on various committees of the Allied Construction Employers Association. He is a director of Heritage Bank in West Bend, Wis., and holds the rank of "rear commodore" in the Cedar Lake Yacht Club.

Jerry and his wife Mary live on Big Cedar Lake in Wisconsin with their eight children: Jeffrey, David, Michael, Thomas, Tim, Kelly, Tracy and Kris.

Dee Brown is involved with the Employment Opportunity and the North Texas Contractors Association; he is board chairman of the Construction Division of the Dallas County United Fund; associate director of the Associated General Contractors of America, Dallas Chapter.

He is past chairman of the Multi-Craft Regional Collective Bargaining Committee for the North Texas Contractors Association, and past president of the North Texas Contractors Association and the Construction Employers Council of Texas.

In business and civic affairs, Dee is president of Shiloh Investment Co., Inc. and a director of the First Citizens Bank in Dallas, Gaston Episcopal Hospital, Dallas YMCA, East Dallas Chamber of Commerce and Goodwill Industries.

He is past president of the Dallas Executive Association and is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and the Mustang Club.

A native of Dallas, Dee was educated at Sunset High School and Southern Methodist University. He and his wife Jody have four children and four grandchildren.

Robert Hatch has three children: Robert, a recent graduate of Rutgers University and now a sales representative for a computer firm in Short Hills, N.J.; Scott, a recent construction management graduate of the University of Washington and now working for a Seattle general contractor, and Susan, a bank computer team manager in Monterey Park, Calif.

Fuller Acquires Firm

The Construction and Consumer Products Division of H.B. Fuller Co., Palatine, III., announced it has acquired the business assets of Dixon Chubbuck & Associates, Inc., Santa Fe Springs, Calif., a producer/distributor of dry mortars, adhesives and mastics for the ceramic tile and related industries.

Dixon Chubbuck has been a licensee of Fuller for approximately 15 years.

Niro Atomizer Purchases Oklahoma Brick Corp.

Niro Atomizer, Inc., a Maryland-based conglomerate, has acquired the majority ownership of Oklahoma Brick Corp., Oklahoma City. Niro plans to operate the company as an autonomous affiliate corporation.

Oklahoma Brick has clay brick plants in both Union City and Muskogee, Okla., with a combined capacity of 100 million brick per year. Additional capacity of 15 million brick is available through the Union City concrete brick plant. The firm maintains sales offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, and distributes its products throughout a seven-state Southwestern region.

James N. Mayfield has been elected board chairman and CEO of Oklahoma Brick Corp.
