PRE-CONFERENCE SEMINARS
# THURSDAY, March 7, 10:00 a.m.
To start off this segment of the program, the MCAA Management Institute will present a new course on "Computer Assisted Estimating" to be conducted by construction consultant Jerry G. Pope. This is an entirely new field and should be of great value to mason contractors involved with this type of estimating. The synopsis on page 10 of this issue provides more detailed information about this course.
Then, starting at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, there will be a half-day seminar on the "Rehabilitation/ Restoration Market for Mason Contractors." Special focus will be on "What Is the Market?" so that members can evaluate for themselves the opportunities that exist in this ever-growing field.
