Take it with a grain of salt... or make it last with DUR-O-GUARD

Mortar admixtures containing calcium chloride can buy you some cold-weather building time, but they can also buy you some problems. Problems with corrosion and with long-term quality and durability. Problems with customer satisfaction and with credibility.

DUR-O-GUARD Accelerator for Mortar, the non-chloride, non-corrosive accelerator, allows you to extend building and profit time into the winter months without worrying about corrosion later on.

You get improved workability with this water-reducing corrosion inhibitor. The mortar is easier to control and place, and it adds to the lifetime of your structure. DUR-O-GUARD offers you a quality product, both easy to use and cost effective.

ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATION
All mortar for masonry and stone work that will be laid at temperatures below 40°F, shall contain the non-chloride mortar accelerator, DUR-O-GUARD, or equal. Reasonable precautions shall be provided at the job site. All admixtures shall be used in strict accordance with the manufacturer's directions. The non-chloride, non-corrosive admixture shall conform to ASTM C494 requirements for use in mortar under ASTM C270.
