NCMA's Lenchuk Retires

Paul Lenchuk retired on February 6, 1985 as president and chief executive officer of the National Concrete Masonry Association. During his tenure, new markets for concrete block were developed, including loadbearing concrete masonry, customized concrete masonry, and block pavers.

Another landmark reached under his management was the construction of the NCMA headquarters and laboratory building in Herndon, Va., which features the largest and most well-equipped research and development laboratory in the concrete masonry industry.
