Emphasis Will be on Education
At '86 MCAA Conference

February 27th to March 5th, 1986 at the Trade Winds Hotel, St. Petersburg Beach, Florida

The emphasis at the '86 MCAA Conference will be entirely on the business aspect of our industry, with two and one-half days devoted solely to seminars, workshops and demonstrations.

In keeping with President Dentinger's annual report presented at the Las Vegas Conference, MCAA is placing greater emphasis on continuing education. With this new format, we will be able to provide educational forums designed to make every mason contractor in MCAA more knowledgeable.

Starting on Thursday, February 27th, we will have two seminars which will provide basic business information- "Masonry Estimating For A Profit" and "Financial Plan-

Attention Non-Members

ning." On Friday, Seminars A and B will continue and the Masonry Systems Marketing Committee will start its day-long, four-part program on "Effective Masonry Marketing for Today's Mason Contractor." Because of unique scheduling, a mason contractor interested in learning about successful marketing techniques can take advantage of each of the four seminars.

On Saturday, attendees will have an excellent opportunity to seek out the subject matter they wish to explore. There will be an informative program on brick panels and how one progressive mason contractor is making successful inroads into the burgeoning panel field.

There also will be four workshops in addition to demonstrations on "Cash Flow Management," Ready-Mix Mortars," "Apprenticeships" and "Forklift Maintenance." These, combined with the regular Conference program, social events and ocean-front setting, should provide MCAA members with a very entertaining and profitable program.

Following is a brief rundown on the tentative '86 Conference schedule. Members will be kept informed of any changes and adjustments in the program as it is developed and finalized.
