James Keeven and Jay Jacobsmeyer have joined Arco Construction Company, Brentwood, Missouri, design-build general contracting and construction management firm.

Stewart Schwartz has been appointed salesmanager and Terry McNamee has been appointed techncial service manager, construction industry, by Landers-Segal Color Company. Both Schwartz and McNamee were formerly with the Hamburger Liquid Color Company.

Karl Ziebert has joined Simon Aerials as customer service engineer. Fomerly with Simon-RO in Olathe, kansas, Ziebert will be representing both Simon Aerials and Simon-RO.

Boral Bricks has opened a 3,000 square foot exterior design center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The center, said to be the first-of-its-kind, showcases brick styles and colors in life-size homefronts and other residential vignettes.

Joseph Gascoigne has stepped down as executive director of the Construction Specifications Institute, due to health reasons. He will remain as executive director emeritus in an advisory capacity. Gascoigne is succeeded by Gregory Balestrero, former executive director of the Institute of Industrial Engineers.

Jackle Talton has joined Perma-Grain Products as their manufacturer's representative for Oklahoma. The company also appointed W. D. Distributors of Cincinnati, Ohio as a full line distributor for western and southern Ohio.

Joseph Fiumara has been named manager of laboratory and training services and Arthur Bernardon has been named associate customer service manager by the Rawiplug Company. Fiumara, with the company since 1986, was formerly laboratory manager. Bernardon was formerly director of computer operations for Charles Librett Hardware.

Brennan Beer Gorman/Architects, New York, has announced the promotions of Michael P. Antonik, Paul Bellisario and Marlon Fernandez to associates.

Ronald J. Roberti and Richard Wolf have joined Atlas Fastening Systems as sales representatives. Roberti will cover the western region of the country and Wolf will cover the mid-central region surrounding Minnesota.

Joseph H. Fuhrman has been named general manager of specialty and fine chemicals by Huls America, replacing Robert Morlino, who has been appointed vice pesident and general manager of the colorants, coatings and additives business. Furhrman has been with Huls since 1989.

James C. Myers has been named associate/vice president by Simpson Gumpertz and Heger, Arlington, Massachusetts firm of building technology specialists.

Raymond J. Blesener, has been elected president of the Society of Registered Architects for 1965. He's a general partner and principal of Blesener Dahlberg Architects, Duluth, Minnesota.

Paul C. Breeze has joined the American Concrete Institute as managing director of engineering, and Peter J. Steiner has joined as director of education. Breeze, formerly with Stresscon Corporation, replaced Ward R. Malisch. Steiner, formerly with the Portland Cement Association, replaced Willliam D. Palmer.

John Chrysler has been appointed executive director of the Masonry Institute of America, succeeding James E. Amrhein, who has retired. Chrysler was formerly director of technical services. Amrhein will continue to serve MIA as a consultant.

R. P. Bud Vinall has been named general secretary-treasurer.
