Harcros Pigments has announced expansion of their synthetic iron oxide facility in East St. Louis, Illinois. The expansion is designed to produce 5-million pounds per year of yellow and black iron oxides.
Ron Butts and Jim Hines have been named district managers by Stone Construction Equipment. Butts' territory includes Kentucky, Michigan and parts of Indiana and Ohio. Hines territory includes West Virginia and parts of Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Brock White Company, a St. Paul, Minnesota distributor of specialty construction products, announced that its Canadian subsidiary, Brock White Canada, has acquired the assets of Stools Industrial Products in Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Regina. Brock White's lines include concrete accessories and repair materials, waterproofing, sealants, masonry accessories, geotextiles, insulation and job supplies.
Stan Askren has been named vice president of marketing for Heatilator. He previously served as a staff vice president of Hon Industries, Heatilator's parent company.

Dana Davis has been named national salesmanager of Grace Masonry Products, a unit of Grace Construction. Davis, who was salesmanager for concrete products in Pleasanton, California, will be based in the company's offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Sherwin-Williams has acquired the outstanding shares of FLR Paints. Located in Bradenton, Florida, FLR is noted for its masonry and concrete stain and sealers.
Debbie Morris, formerly manager of meetings and conventions, has been promoted to director of meetings and conventions by the National Concrete Masonry Association, replacing Chris Thiel who left to join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Boral Bricks has announced a $1.3-million renovation and update of its Gleason, Tennessee plant, primarily including production equipment upgrade. With the equipment upgrade, plant capacity will increase 25 percent.
