SUBMISSION:
Each project must be submitted in the following manner.
(1) ONLY PROJECTS SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETED AND OCCUPIED BY SEPTEMBER 1, 1992 AND SEPTEMBER 1. 1995. NO UNDER CONSTRUCTION OR UNLANDSCAPED PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
(2) The major element of the project must be a masonry product-brick, concrete masonry, stone (marble, granite, etc.), glass block, tile or other masonry.
(3) To enhance the projects' presentation at judging, slides and photographs should be clear and professional in quality.
Submit no more than ten, no less than six, 35mm 2x2 color slides per entry. Each is to be identified A,B,C(etc.) per the following. Within the slides to be submitted, the views specified must be included:

Overall view of structure

Special masonry details (closeups)
(4) If rehab/restoration classification, include 2 different slides of building prior to rehabilitation.
(5) Please arrange for professional photos to be taken while weather permits. A signed release must be obtained from your photographer for permission to duplicate all copyright photos for publicity use. A copy of this release must be attached to all entries.
(6) A minimum of four and/or maximum of five 8 x 10" color prints of the project being submitted should be included with slides.
(7) Each entry must include a written description of the project-250-500 words maximum.
(8) Do not submit any materials which are not required. Data sheet must be filled out completely. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry with incomplete information or visual materials.
(9) All slides, photos and data sheets will become sole property of Masonry Magazine and WILL NOT BE RETURNED. All materials submitted may be used to publicize the entries and/or the competition.
JUDGING:
A jury of outstanding representatives of the architectural profession and members of the masonry industry will meet to select building projects that merit Excellence in Masonry. The jury will select a Best of Show winner for the most distinguished design of all entries.
PRESENTATION OF AWARDS:
The awards presentation will take place at Masonry Expo '96, Sunday, January 28, at 8 a.m.
NO PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNERS WILL BE MADE PRIOR TO THE AWARDS PRESENTATION.
