MCAA'S MASONRY TRAINING SERIES

The MCAA Masonry Training Series was written by a team of individuals drawn from around the country, and developed in response to industry demands for skilled, well trained masons. This easy to use series has 50 different topics in a modular system with over 400 photos and illustrations.

Modules are self-contained. They can be used in the MCAA suggested training sequence or the training sequence can be customized to meet individual program needs.

Volumes are organized into tabbed, three-ring binders. As a result new information can be added to specific modules without having to publish an entire text. This helps keep the publication current.

An Instructor's Manual with class exercises, instructional suggestions, and sample test questions is available.

The number of combined hours of lecture and laboratory necessary to teach each module has been listed.

Current OSHA regulations are incorporated as well as the most up-to-date information on specialty areas.

The instructional materials have been developed to meet the U.S. Department of Labor standards for apprenticeship training. Each year includes at least 144 hours of classroom instruction.

Several hundred pictures and illustrations help make the concepts easy to understand. A glossary for easy reference of terms has been included.

Chapter objectives, key words, chapter references, and supplemental readings are included in each module.

Each volume will continue to be an excellent resource for later years.
