For decades, representatives of the masonry industry understood that masonry could compete effectively against tilt up and precast with both speed and cost of construction.
Three modern multiplex theatres in the Chicagoland area used tall slender reinforced concrete masonry throughout and showed construction customers first hand how masonry could out produce competitive products while giving them the advantages of constructing in masonry.
The following three case studies show how economical and speedy concrete masonry can be when construction customers and general contractors work with the industry on construction schedules and understand the material and use its many inherent qualities to the fullest.
