As years passed, the needs of industry changed and competition intensified, so ownership decided to diversify its product mix and focus more toward distributing specialty products for niche market segments.

Today, the company remains family owned and operated by the fifth generation, distributing unique wood and composite materials to the model/prototype industry, scaffold industry, and other specialized trades. Despite its long heritage as a building products supply yard, McCausey Lumber Co. recently changed its name to McCausey Specialty Products, to better reflect the scope of its business.
