MANCOMM Issues Guide ?Įon OSHA Crane Regs

MANCOMM Issues Guide ?Įon OSHA Crane RegsA new OSHA rule addressing the use of cranes and derricks in construction took effect on Nov. 8, 2010, replacing a decades-old standard. About 267,000 construction-related companies employing about 4.8 million workers are affected by this new rule. To help America’s construction industry to meet the requirements of the new standard, MANCOMM has released a new regulatory guide, “OSHA Crane Regulations.” According to OSHA, the new rule is designed to prevent the leading causes of fatalities, including electrocution, crushed-by/struck-by hazards during assembly/disassembly, collapse and overturn.

“OSHA Crane Regulations” was made with RegLogic, a unique graphical approach that makes navigating and reading regulations easier. Features of RegLogic include color coding for fast reference, bold text and italics, enhanced color graphics, and an outline format with indents to allow the user to find needed information more quickly. MANCOMM is offering “OSHA Crane Regulations” at $2.95 (use VIP code “CDPRC” when asked for a promotional code). To order or for more information, visit www.Mancomm.com.
