James T. Bolan, president of Great Lakes Industries, Inc., Monmouth, Illinois, has been appointed a member of the executive committee of Natco Corporation, Pittsburgh. Mr. Bolan was named to the firm's board of directors earlier this year. Natco manufactures a complete line of structural clay products for a wide variety of industrial, commercial and residential building applications.
The Carpenter Advertising Company of Cleveland, Ohio now goes under the name of Carpenter, Lamb and Herrick Inc., located at 1220 Huron Road, Cleveland 15, Ohio.

Unibestos Line
The Pittsburgh Corning Corporation has announced the purchase from Union Asbestos and Company, Chicago, Illinois, of the company's plant and facilities to produce pipe and block insulation. UNIBESTOS is a high temperature insulation and will extend Pittsburgh Corning's present product line to markets which are not available to the company's present products. Pittsburgh Corning will continue to use the name "Unibestos" to identify the product.

John H. Jacob, president of Henry B. Jacob and Sons, masonry contractors, wom president of the Unit Masonry Association of Greater Cincinnati at that organization annual meeeting. Mr. Jacob, first row center, is pictured between Donald N. Beiting, vice-president, and Joseph B. Gronotte, secretary-treasurer of the masonry group.
Mr. Beiting is an executive of Local 2, Kentucky Bricklayers' Union. Mr. Gronotte is of the J. B. Granotte Comapny. Also elected to the board of directors were secc left-to-right; Howard Purcell, Radel Concrete Products Company: Harry J. Scholeman, man Builders Supply; James G. Bennett, Local 18. Ohio Bricklayers' Union, Richard E. Reading Concrete Products, William F. Hummel, David Hummel Building Company, c Haver, Lafe Hover and Sons.
Mr. Hummel is the Unit Masonry Association immediate past president. Mr. Bennett is retiring vice-president. Messers Purcell, Haver and Schaleman are newly elected to the board of directors. Mr. Beiting was re-elected to a two year term.
