AED's New "Green Book"
An all new, 26th Edition, Compilation of Nationally Averaged Rental Rates For Construction Equipment has been published by Associated Equipment Distributors (AED). The 184-page book contains over 3000 daily, weekly and monthly nationally averaged rental rates for 1974 on some 125,000 sizes and types of equipment, ranging from the smallest air tools to giant earthmovers.
Based on a nationwide survey among the 900 AED member construction equipment distributors throughout the U.S., the new Compilation, popularly called "The Green Book", reflects substantially higher rental rates caused by increased prices of equipment last year. According to AED, rental rates were generally up 10-20% in 1974.
A special section of the Compilation includes a directory, arranged by states, of some 400 distributors engaged in rental of equipment and shows the types of products they rent. Also included is a section listing manufacturer approved data horsepower, rated capacity, year of manufacture plus additional technical information on equipment.
The new edition, tab-indexed for quick reference, is available now from AED at $15.00 per copy. Orders should be sent, with remittance, to the AED Executive Office, Department R, 615 W. 22nd Street, Oak Brook, Ill. 60521.
