The Brick Association of North Carolina has named Peter P. Cieslak assistant general manager. Ed Lewis, formerly senior vice president/marketing of Oklahoma Brick Corp., has been appointed Houston area sales manager of the Tiffany Division of U.S. Brick, Inc., based in San Antonio. Doug Hamilton has joined Preway Inc., Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., as district sales manager. He previously was with Wisconsin Brick & Block of Madison. William Rubel, formerly with W.R. Grace Co.'s construction products division, is the new sales & marketing director of Anti Hydro Co., Newark, N.J., manufacturer of construction chemicals.

Interstate Brick Co., West Jordan, Utah, has reorganized its sales department into four marketing sections: commercial and institutional, residential, distributor sales, and ceramic tile. Harvey Cahoon, operations vice president, announced. Heading up the new sections are, respectively, Roger Arnell, Rick Crooks, Kent McQuivey and Roland Baldwin. Cornoyer-Hedrick Architects & Planners, Inc., Phoenix, Ariz., has promoted four of its key personnel- Vincent M. Territo, Douglas W. Fredrickson, S. Randall Todd and David J. Armacost to associate status in the firm.
Acme Brick Scholarships
Acme Brick Co., Fort Worth, Texas, announced it has awarded two scholarships to Hocking Technical College, Nelsonville. Ohio, for the 1983-84 school term.
Two ceramic engineering students received the scholarships-John Pierce, second-year student, and Michelle Dowler, first-year student.
