What about self-insurance?
How is self-insurance different from standard insurance programs? With self-insurance, your firm is responsible for several functions normally handled by the insurance carrier, such as loss payments, legal services and claims handling and adjustment.
Are self-insurance and higher deductibles only for large corporations? Not necessarily. Every business, large or small, has (or should have) the capacity to absorb some of its risks, especially those which can be predicted and controlled with some degree of certainty. "Brick & Block Beauty Contest" Award

Butler Memorial Library in Chase City, Va., is the recipient of this year's "Brick & Block Beauty Contest" award from the Virginia Masonry Council. Mrs. W. C. O'Brien received a cash prize for submitting the library as an entry in response to the Council's radio commercial, and plaques were awarded to the designer and library officials.
