Bosch Power Tools Names New President

Words: Matthew Adams/Public/News/20050804130000.jpg" width="90" height="148" border="1" align="right" hspace="10" vspace="1"> On May 4, Bosch Power Tools, a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, announced the appointment of Frank Carroll to President of Bosch Power Tools North America. Playing an integral role in the organization for more than 17 years, Carroll's new position continues an impressive career of company leadership.

Prior to Bosch Power Tools, Carroll led the company's rotary tool brand business, Dremel® and RotoZip® by Bosch, as President and General Manager. He will continue to oversee these brands until a replacement is announced. Prior to the rotary tool business, Carroll served as Senior Vice President, country sales organization.

Carroll received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University and his master's degree from the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University.

In addition to his role with Bosch, Carroll is an avid supporter of SkillsUSA, a national organization serving teachers, high school and college students preparing for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations. He served as the organization's Board President in 2004 and continues as a member of the board of directors.
