Demonstration
Pictured above are sections of the Americana parking lot used for the Tuesday morning Material Handling Demonstration. Participating this year were: Champ Sales Corp.; Desa Industries; Lull Engineering Co.; Morgen Manufacturing Co.; PCM Div., Koehring Co. and Pettibone Corp. Sunny skies and low-80 temperatures adding to the pleasantness of the day.
The fishermen, meanwhile, were having their fun at sea. Though there were a few cases of seasickness among the landlubbers, most of the guests reported having a great time and sailed through it all like true mariners.
Prize winners were Evelyn Chevalier, who took first place by snaring a 43" barracuda, and another member of the Galan family, Mr. Anthony Galan, who won second place by hauling in a 39" shark.
The convention closed on Tuesday evening with the Annual Banquet. Newly elected officers officially took office at the MCAA Executive Board Meeting in the Pan American Room on Wednesday morning, January 12.

One of the highlights of the Ladies' program was the Conni Gordon "Paint Party."
