Cold Spring Granite recently announced an overseas block sales program targeted to Asia, Europe and other international markets. The program offers overseas buyers the opportunity to purchase granite blocks directly, as well as cut-to-size stone.

Watson Bowman Acme, a manufacturer of specialty construction products, has acquired the assets of Nova International of North Kansas City, Missouri. Nova is a manufacturer of concrete and masonry cleaner and sealer products. The acquisition broadens Watson's range of products for the non-residential architectural and bridge/highway markets.

AEG Power Tools has been sold to Atlas Copco, Stockholm, Sweden, and AEG is now Atlas Copco Electric Tools. The AEG logo will remain on tools and accessories for several years.

Elmdor Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer or standard and fire rated access doors, has opened five new additional warehouses in Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Detroit and Portland, Oregon. They've also added a 40,000 square foot warehouse facility near their headquarters in Industry, California.

Simon Access has purchased the business and assets of Cella SpA, Italy's leading access manufacturer. Simon, one of the world's largest producers of powered access equipment, said that the Cella line of telescopic and truck mounted platforms complement the existing Simon lines perfectly.

Outwater Plastic Industries of Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, a leading supplier of necessities to the building, remodeling, interior design and other trades, has added 50,000 square feet to its existing 140,000 square foot warehouse facility in Wood-Ridge.

Computer Guidance Corporation, Phoenix developer of software for the construction industry, and Grantlun Corporation, Tempe, Arizona based developers of estimating software for heavy and highway construction firms, have announced a technology transfer alliance.

Austin Consulting, a division of the Austin Company specializing in logistics and manufacturing technology services, and Symbol Technologies, a world leader in bar-code based data capture systems, have announced a stratetic marketing alliance.
